BENCH 1775 - 2014 Glow Rosé - VQA - Best Rosé in B.C. - 93 points!
Awards: WINE OF DISTINCTION: 2015 Canadian Oyster Wine Pairing Competition / 2015 Lieutenant Governor's Awards for Excellence in BC Wines
Copper-hued, this Malbec based rosé has lambert cherry overlayed with dried thyme and Meyer lemon zest. Crisp and clean, pair this with a sunny afternoon on the patio.
Production Notes: GRAPE VARIETIES: 65.4% Malbec, 13.2% Merlot, 5.4% Syrah, 16% Cabernet Franc
Tasting Notes: Pale copper in colour with delicate hints of northern berries this wine was made with the white juice of red skinned grapes. The rigorous exclusion of oxygen and no skin contact helps capture the more subtle aspects of these traditionally bold red varieties.
Our goal is to produce a crisp complex rosé that will make you forget about drinking any other rosé. Redefining what BC Rosé can be.
Pairing Notes: Best paired with shellfish, light fish, cold pasta, sharp cheeses and tarragon-accented food.
Serve chilled to 10 °C.
