An off dry white wine made from several varieties of 100% certified organically grown Similkanmeen Valley Asian & Euro pears. The fruit is picked in September, allowed to ripen, gently pressed and handcrafted.
Aromas: Fresh ripe pear citrus and floral notes.
Palate: Aged briefly in French oak, this golden wine announces delicate flavours of melting ripe pear, a hint of smokiness, vanilla, with a dry finish.
Accompaniment: Fresh salads, seafood, coconut milk curry dishes, blue cheese, goat cheese, fondues, and platters.
Serve: Slightly chilled, wonderful on it's own.

TASTING NOTES: This wine is reflects the best expression of Chardonnay, allowed to fully ripen and then left to hang on the vine for further concentration of ripe flavours. Alive with tropical fruit & green apple, this Late Harvest has a smooth pear & honey finish.
On the Nose: Aromas of baked apples, dried apricots, golden raisins, honey and lemon zest.
On the Palate: Opulent and full-bodied, with luscious flavors of apple, apricot, creamy flan, golden raisins, honey and vanilla overlaid with lemon zest. Well balanced acidity contributes to the long, smooth finish.
Serving: Pair with vanilla bean ice cream, and stone fruit pastries. For the summer, serve with barbecued peaches and vanilla whipped cream. Scrumptious!
