A white wine made from 100% organically grown Similkameen Valley Asian Pears. The fruit is picked in September, frozen, then gently pressed and handcrafted. The resulting juice, from 4 Asian Pear varietals, has pure complex layers with exotic overtones.
Aromas: Fresh pear aroma with exotic flavours of ginger, papaya, wildflower honey, lychee and Asian pear.
Palate: Complex falvours of spice, star anise, cinnamon, orange peel, with honey, lychee and Asian Pear.
Accompaniment: Roast pork, foie gras (other pate), roast peking duck, seafood (seared scallops), coconut milk flavoured dish, grilled or roasted pineapple, cheesecake, creme caramel, chiffon cakes, cheddar, swiss, and brie.
Serve: Slightly chilled. Wonderful on it's own.
